Unfortunately the food was disappointing this time at Field and Tides. The fish was overcooked. Strawberries were not fresh or flavorful.

Our first trip here and it did not disappoint! The red snapper and scallops were on point.

Three scallops and some risotto for $33 isn’t the best value but it tasted good. Other things I’ve had there have been a good value however. I miss the snapper collars - wish they’d bring them back.

A friend recommended Field & Tides and wow it did not disappoint. We shared the scallop risotto & shrimp, grit, and fried green tomatoes dishes. Both were incredible but our favorite was the shrimp dish. The Texas Bluebonnet mocktail was delicious and our son’s Mac & cheese was also great (and not Kraft). We would absolutely come back!

Always a great experience. Had the shrimp for lunch and it was fantastic on a bed of risotto and fried green tomatoes. Thank you!

Once again, our experience at Field & Tides was positive! All dishes were delicious, both appetitive and entrees. The she crab bisque was great, as the redfish and the shrimp and risotto. Service with our great waiter was very good. Will be back soon!

Mediocre. Dated millennial vibes: Edison lights, nautical colors, exposed ducts combined with average tasting brunch fare. Cheesy bites were hot and crispy on the outside yet room temp and under seasoned on the inside. The burger was nothing to write about as it lacks flavor and juiciness. The bun is dense and overwhelming. The lettuce and tomato ruin the structure of the burger leading to a clumsy handful of ingredients. The pancakes were light, fluffy and tasty but it barely had any ginger as stated in its description. Service was lacking - little knowledge of the menu. This place felt like a throwback to a Boomer's idea of a coastal restaurant. Hard to recommend Field & Tates as the Heights has other options.

Our entrees were outstanding. My wife had the shrimp entree with grit cakes and I had the redfish entree with seafood risotta.

This was my first time at this lovely restaurant, but it won’t be my last. We had wonderful service from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. The food was amazing! A hidden gem of a place!
