We were greeted by Maria the Mater D at the door. She was lovely welcoming. We actually arrived an hour early for our reservation and that was no problem. She seated us at a nice table and we were served fresh bread and their signature fava bean pesto and purée. My husband had a glass of Cabernet. My son had a Stella and I had something called purple rain a cocktail, which was just delicious for the meals. My husband had chicken and artichoke carts. My son had salmon and I had scallops with red cabbage risotto they were all delicious. The staff was very welcoming, and they operate under Maria’s guys as a well oiled machine we will definitely be returning there. She shook my hand at the end of the meal and said too please come back. We would be very welcome and overall relaxing delicious and delightful experience.

Excellent food and service above expectations especially for a totally booked holiday night. Someone definitely thought the requirements for such a night and was welled prepared. Enough help, enough food( they did not run out of anything ) which is no easy challenge. Been there many times and will continue. Menu very diverse. Always great specials.

We were celebrating a birthday as well as Christmas with a group of friends who have been together for over 60 years. Everything was just perfect and we highly recommend this restaurant.

We came for our engagement and had the best experience. Food was delicious, staff was attentive and made us feel very special/like we’ve known each other for years. Look forward to coming back to a fantastic restaurant.

A lively crowd ended their week enjoying fine dining and drinks at bargain basement happy hour prices. Grilled jumbo shrimp over the mistra salad continues to be my favorite choice.

For the price that we paid, the service did not match. Truthfully our waiter was extremely forgetful and very inattentive. Frequently forgetting items. Furthermore, charging for soda refills and seltzer water refills is absurd. The bread came out with the appetizers, the food was lacking flavor and needed salt, which was not available. Had high expectations and hopeful that if we return it will be better.
