It was lovely. Just a few missed service details. When offering “food for the table” it should come with a serving spoon and personal bowls. Sharing a soup out of one bowl is odd. Also, as a server, if you dribble wine down the glass when you pour it and it makes a puddle on the table - offer to wipe it off and not just walk away.

We had a reservation for 12:00 New Years day. We were seated at the second booth close to the door. I asked if we could sit in the main dining room because cold air coming in and was told we could not sit in there. There were many open tables. Our server appeared quit jew with minimal conversation and did not explain about the brunch menu. The first and second course was amazing! The bruschetta toast was too hard to eat. The main course was good but I tasted too much lemon in Shrimp and grits. The dessert plate was delicious and so pretty.

We've been to two brunches since my last review about our dinner dining experience in early November. Both brunches have been delicious and the staff much friendlier and helpful than in past visits. The changes management has made shows that they care and take customer feedback seriously. It has certainly renewed our loyalty and love for the vineyard. The egg, salad, meat, and side dishes were very tasty and overall the ambience and environment makes for a wonderful dining experience. However, I'd stay away from the sourdough bread appetizers or entrees as these dishes continue to need some refining. Overall, Farmers Commons is a great choice to enjoy the vineyard and all its beauty. So I'd recommend planning a leisurely day to enjoy all the Vineyard at Florence has to offer.

We loved food from the Commons but NYE dinner was such a shame and disappointment. All entree except the dessert was SALTY. We had to ask less salt on the prime steak. Steak came out as cold so we had to return and ask them to reheat. Very disorganized and less engaging servers. They just kept chatting in the kitchen area. We had to raise our hands so many times to get drinks, silverware and other requests. The server didn't ask about how to grill the steak. They just assumed we would like medium done and medium rare and served them cold. Honestly OVER PRICED dinner.

The restaurant has a very limited menu and was out of a number of types of wine. Not what I expected from a restaurant that sells themselves as a place to go for wine and fine dining

Excellent food and service. A relaxing environment and light jazz played on a saxophone made the experience absolutely enjoyable!!

Great setting, food, and service. It is a bit pricey but nice for a special occasion. Inside it is lovely and comfortable. Beautiful setting outside with plenty of seating, swings, etc.

I wanted to say I loved it. The restaurant is beautiful, the food looks beautiful, the ingredients are the best quality. The service staff was very nice. That’s where all my niceties stop. Our sweet waiter, it was like he had never served a table in his life. He barely knew how to take our order. Once I did place my order, he kept telling me that was out of stock. Once our food did arrive, it was cold. Cold pizza, cold pasta… not mention that it took 45 mins for my son to get his kids Mac n cheese. We had to ask 5 times! I whitenesses the head cook arguing repeatedly with our waiter. Guys- who cares! Get the food out. Also… haha… our waiter dropped our bread on the ground. Delivers the un-dropped bread, picks up dropped bread and grabs more… never washes hands. Overall- expensive for a cold meal that took 45 mins to get Mac n cheese after we all ate. Probably won’t be coming back.
