We love Farm ambience, food and service, it’s consistently wonderful. Stroll around the garden after brunch for a delightful afternoon. The fire features and giant chess set add to the atmosphere. We will keep coming back!

This dining experience left a lasting, bitter impression; one I couldn’t shake even as we made the long drive back to Reno. Admittedly, that might sound dramatic, but this was one of those rare occasions where the experience was so baffling, so disappointing, that it replayed in my mind over and over. When we arrived at FARM, the beauty of the space took my breath away. The gardens were stunning, and strolling through them as we waited set a promising tone. Since we arrived a few minutes early, we thought it reasonable to check in; the restaurant was nearly empty. Still, the hostess coldly told us we had to wait until the exact time of our reservation. Odd, but fine. In hindsight, her frosty reception should have been a warning sign. Once seated, we realized the menu wasn’t what we expected budget wise, but our mistake. Still, wanting to support the restaurant and experience a little of it, we ordered coffees and beignets. That, it turns out, was a mistake. It took over 35 minutes for three basic coffees to arrive; a plain coffee, an espresso, and a latte, nothing complicated. We finished our drinks and waited another 40 minutes for the beignets. Meanwhile, tables seated after us received full meals without delay, beignets even! It became painfully clear that because we didn’t order a full brunch, our table was treated as unimportant. As someone who has worked in food service, I found this behavior appalling & almost punitive. Even from a business perspective, wouldn’t you want to turn a table quickly instead of letting it sit for over an hour? The shame is that the beignets were excellent, and the food we saw around us looked fantastic. The kitchen clearly has talent. But even brilliant food cannot redeem service this poor. After reading other reviews, it seems our experience wasn’t an isolated one. Whatever the root cause; poor management, bad training, or misplaced priorities , it poisons what could otherwise be a remarkable restaurant. Such a shame.

Given the nightly cost of a room you would expect a better experience from Farm . The service was mediocre at best . There was a general lack of attention to customers on a timely basis. Staff training is clearly lacking. A example of this manifests itself starting with hostess. They came to get us for our reservation late in the bar. Most of the time they offer to take my wife’s wine glass to the table , instead they walked away after telling us the table was ready. The waiter let water glasses go empty for long periods of time and food quality was mediocre. Lots of other alternatives in Napa for dinner.

I hate to say it, but we had a really disappointing experience. After we finished our starter, it took over 45 minutes just to get our main course, despite asking the waitress and other staff several times with no clear response. The pasta was completely tasteless, and we had to send it back. When the duck main course finally arrived—after more than an hour—it was cold. They did replace it with a warm plate and gave us an extra dish, but overall, the service from the waitress was poor and inattentive. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back to this place.

We were a party of six for Easter dinner at 6 p.m. so not the Brunch. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations—especially given the price point. The pork chops were dry and tough, while the scallop portion was disappointingly small. The drinks were equally underwhelming—we had to return two Old Fashioneds because they were watered down with very little alcohol. We did really like the sides: Brussels sprouts, carrots and broccoli. While the ambiance and setting were beautiful, the overall quality of the food and drinks made it hard to justify the $500+ bill. It was a very disappointing evening, and we left feeling like it simply wasn’t worth it.

Food was outstanding, although I’m not so sure that brunch anywhere (except, perhaps the St. Regis in NY) ought to command that price tag. The balance of the experience was okay - just not the sort of place to go to for a special occasion.

Not worth $135 pp for Easter Brunch. You choose 4 items from the menu, shared per table. Small portions. Drinks extra charge. No dessert offered.

We had Easter Brunch at Farm and although the food was good, we felt that it was quite overpriced. It was a special occasion so we figured we'd splurge. The grounds are beautiful and we had a front seat to the open lawn area and garden in the back. Being Easter Sunday, everyone was all dressed up. Ladies in their floral, pastel colored dresses and gentlemen in their Khaki pants and pastel shirts, and the children were adorable in their Sunday best! It was all very beautiful and had an understated country clubish feel to it. We would go again for the ambience, but be careful of what menu we order from as some things can be quite pricey.

First time here and definitely lovely facility. *We booked four for easter brunch advertised at $135/person online...seemed like a reasonable price. What we didnt know is that coffee and mimosas were extra, but found out as we were ordering (kinda odd for an all in brunch in my book) Total bill with tip was >$700 for 4 people. 2 coffees and 4 mimosas got us from $540 to >$700 (plus tip) Just charge people more and include these...just ridiculous *Brunch seating at 11:00am and service was spotty...not overly crowded but we weren't offered clean plates between servings (again, kind weird) and probably would have had a few more mimosas if offered. We ate at two really nice restaurants the previous nights in Napa and the service was crisp and on point...this was not Needs work for sure and probably wont be back at this price
