Nice enough place when you need a reservation on V Day but it’s a Golf Course/Wedding Venue. Everything is precooked and sent out lukewarm. Fine for a wedding of 100 but 3 star as a dinner restaurant

My husband & I had our Valentine's Day Dinner at Farm & Founder in the Royal Ashburn Golf Club. The atmosphere and setting were lovely. The shrimp cocktail, beef tenderloin and sticky toffee pudding was delicious and well presented. The pudding was in a cute heart shape. The Espresso Martini was heavenly. Our server Hanna was attentive and provided excellent service. Everything was perfect.

This was an absolutely wonderful place for a romantic dinner. The view of the course is lovely and the music is kept fairly quiet so you can have a nice conversation. The food was fantastic. I had the vegan risotto and it was the best vegan meal I have had out in ages. I felt so sad that I won't be able to go back regularly to enjoy it again! The service was lovely. She was kind and thoughtful and made sure we had as much time as we needed. I look forward to booking again next Valentines Day since I am not a member of the club.

Thank you Shelly, very glad you enjoyed your experience with us. Good News! you don't have to be a member of the golf club to dine with us we are open to the public daily for breakfast lunch and dinner and will be running special evenings throughout the summer. Stay Posted.

Today was my first time here but will not be the last. I booked to celebrate a birthday and wanted a modern spot with good food and this place hit the mark! The restaurant is at a golf club and the entrance is at through the main club entrance, handy to know if you’re not there to golf. We booked online and indicated we were celebrating a birthday; there was a cute hand written happy birthday paper on the table which was a very thoughtful gesture that caught us by surprise. Our server was attentive and friendly, and made sure we did not go thirsty or hungry. I would highly recommend the black truffle sacchetti…pairs well with wine. I am excited to have found this place and look forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Have been here numerous times and have no complaints re food and value for money. The service was appalling. The server sat us next to a table of 8 men golfers and the noise not acceptable. We asked to be moved which was not a problem as the restaurant wasn’t busy. We sat at our new table and were basically ignored by our server. I actually went back to our previous table and retrieved the water initially provided. Our order had been placed before the golfers arrived, but the server was concerned about getting the golfers their cocktails prepared. We finally flagged down another server and asked her to get our meal, which she did promptly. Thankfully it wasn’t cold. I do have problems about returning to this venue any time soon.

Dinner was a 10! Service was 10+. Enjoyed it and will be back monthly to eat. Cheaper than a crappy chain restaurant. Tips are earned here. Server was beyond exceptional and was very pleasant and helpful, and was this way from start to finish! ( nothing worse than a server who only becomes pleasant when the bill comes) .
