   Atmosphere was excellent. We arrived about 30-min prior to our reservation with the intention of having a drink first. The hostess was very nice. She informed us they could seat us right away but they had overbooked for the evening and we're sure where they were going to put everyone. We were seated at a table right beside the bar. It took 10 minutes for the server to come to the table. It took 25 minutes to get our initial drink. While we were ordering I asked the server if I could replace the brussels sprouts with a different side and was immediately cut off with "no substitutions. My wife decided she wasn't going to spend $60 on entre she wouldn't fully enjoy and would likely leave most of the food on the plate. I, on the other hand, decided to go ahead and order, even though I am not a fan of brussels sprouts. About 10 minutes later, the server came back to inform me they had run out of brussels sprouts and they replaced with carrots. No option of side for me to decided. The food arrived. The Wagyu had a weird seasoning/taste to it. The potatoes were bland, but the carrots were completely over flavored with garlic. I would have rated this experience at one star, but the server really tried and the atmosphere was good. We will not go back to this restaurant. Very poor experience for money paid.

   The tap water they had was not good. It tasted like pond scum, if there are issues with the water there they should be serving Evian based on the cost of the meals. The dessert was so small don’t share it with your guest if y’all order. It’s best to order two if you want to pay the price.

   An excellent and creative menu. Anna (mixologist-bartender) is the best on the Coast. She creates craft cocktails for each season and they are perfection.

    I would give five stars for the ambiance and service.. however, I'm giving a three for the lack of taste in the food. While the burger was decent, the chargrilled oysters were heavily coated with a breading, making the oyster flavor lost in the crumbs.. but worst of all was the $30+ pasta dish that had a heavy flour/butter sauce lacking in any flavor at all. It was topped by an over-fried soft shell crab rendering it nothing but crunchy breading. Very disappointing. Not sure we'll go back as our bill was about a $100, and left there feeling like I missed out on a good meal elsewhere.
