Ethiopic Restaurant focuses on Ethiopian cuisine and culture. Traditional Ethiopian ingredients are introduced to evoke the true taste of Ethiopia. Ethiopic’s authentic Ethiopian food menu will feature vegetarian, meat, poultry, and fish. Ethiopic Restaurant is proud to be the first Ethiopian Restaurant on the H Street Corridor and intends to cater to a wide customer base. We want everyone to feel welcome and entertained.

We now add 20% service fee charge when dining-in, to ensure all of our staff is paid a livable wage.

The food was delicious but the service was slow. We waited a half hour before we received our drinks. I had to ask twice for our check because we had an event in the area.

Wonderful & delicious dining experience! Shared the veggie sampler and the beef & chicken sampler - highly recommend both! Honey wine was incredible. Very happy that I chose this restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner!

Wonderful Ethiopian food. Spiced nicely. We will return next time we are in DC. But we will order the vegetarian sampler and a meat entree. We tried the Ethiopian red wine which was excellent

I’m conflicted on this restaurant. The food was tasty however was not as authentic as some in DC. The Ethiopian wine selection was very nice. The service was sufficient but not hospitable. Enjoyed it but would try somewhere else especially for the price.

Good experience, food was very good and servers helpful with first time Ethiopian food clients! Restaurant very pleasant but got a little noisy as it filled up later in the evening. Recommend the lamb tibs, lovely meat!
