etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

    My wife and I had an outstanding experience. The entire staff was great. Our drinks from the bar were wonderful. I recommend Leatherbound books. The server was very knowledgeable and charming. We had the carpaccio for the appetizer and it did not disappoint. The filet was one of the best I've ever had but the venison was by far the best thing I've eaten in recent memory. Every bite was a new experience with flavors and textures. We enjoyed some ice cream and the mousse bar for dessert with a nice port. Sitting at the counter is an absolute must if you're able to do so. Watching the kitchen and interacting with nearly everyone was especially fun for us. 10/10

    Williamson County now has something to celebrate when it comes to food! Always excellent and changes seasonally, so don’t be lazy if you love the menu it changes for the better! But save room for dessert, seriously

    We enjoyed our dinner at Etch in the Factory. It recently opened and we were excited to meet friends there and give it a try. Our server, Victoria, was friendly and helped us decide on drinks and what we might want for dinner. The ambiance was fun, lively and full of conversation. The food and drinks were delicious and we will be going back.

    Food was great, but pricey. The first restaurant I've been at that charges for bread and butter! Menu is not real extensive, but chef is great. We were placed in a back room with plain decor as compared to the main restaurant. Server was attentive and classy.

    Having been recommended to go from my visit to the Nashville location, I was anticipating a great experience. The waitress didn’t know the name of the fish and couldn’t pronounce it. We both had our dinners arrive with cold mashed potatoes. We asked them to take it back and heat it up. And they did. They apologized profusely. The sweet potato side dish was cold and had some unusual taste. We said we’re not eating this. Again, cold food. Why? It’s a decent place. They could be first right. They need to put a light outside on the sign as it is impossible to see from the parking lot. Staff was OK not great. I would try it again another six months after they get their act together.

    One of the best meal experiences I’ve ever had.  They thought of everything. This was an anniversary dinner, and between the hand signed card and the dessert that said happy anniversary on the chocolate in gold letters, to the exceptional service and elevated taste of the food, we were beyond thrilled with the experience.
