The stunning restaurant, which is the first of its kind in Radnor, will transport guests to the Greek Islands with an atmosphere reminiscent of an inviting Mediterranean home, and a menu of authentic specialties, simply prepared, that represent the best of Greek cuisine. The restaurant specializes in whole grilled fish, which are flown in from the Greek islands, the shores of Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, and procured from independent North American fishermen. We have created a welcoming restaurant designed with the comforts of a typical Greek home. We used materials such as hand-chiseled Jerusalem limestone floors, hand woven rugs, vaulted ceilings, antiqued stucco walls, wood plank floors and exposed wood beams to evoke the traditional atmosphere. A series of dining areas feature rustic farm tables, dark wood chairs with beige cushions and dining nooks with upholstered banquettes. The homelike ambiance is accentuated with whitewashed walls.

We had a very nice dinner. We had a small table in the corner by glass doors and we were both cold. The service was great! Halibut excellent.

My wife and I have been to Estia about 5 times and it never disappoints. This time we both ordered the grilled prawns and they were superb. Our waiter, Eduardo was excellent. I highly recommend this wonderful Greek / Mediterranean restaurant.

This was the first time we visited Estia and we had a wonderful experience. We started with an array of apps including octopus and spanakopita-both of them were excellent and not to be missed. The spanakopita was one of best I’ve had outside of Greece-it tasted as though it were prepared by a grandmother and had a delicious buttery crust-not the usual phyllo which can often be badly prepared. The Estia chips were a bit underwhelming, and the lemon potatoes were undercooked with no sign of any citrus. Our entrees of halibut and swordfish kabob were both delicious, with the standout being the halibut -PERFECTLY cooked and wonderful with the olive tapenade. The swordfish was also excellent but ever so slightly overcooked. As first time diners and also because it was my birthday, we got an array of desserts on the house…and they were all PHENOMENAL….from the Greek yogurt cheese cake with honey, to the almond cookies and the baklava -it’s really hard to say which one was my fave-they were all outstanding in their own right. In terms of the wine, we selected a bottle and they didn’t have it…so, they offered us a comparable one with a higher price tag but lowered the price to match the cost of the bottle we ordered-that translates into fantastic customer service. Who does that?? A rare find these days…. Our server was personable, knowledgable and very attentive. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at Estia and would return in the future

Great location: Easy in & easy out, plus good access thru Lancaster Ave to up & down the main line shops & activities. Ambience a 'breezier ' recreation of the center city location but still suitable for small groups, family or couples dining. Views from the dining room are not 'jaw dropping' but as it gets dark the parking lots & building fade & the lights shine. It gets very attractive, even romantic, quickly. The food, as expected from past Estia experience, is great - maybe even better in some specifics than the center city flagship. The menu is copious but not overdone & what they do, they do well. Prices are not a 'bargain' but are comparable to quality operations in both the city & the suburbs, & the value of a quality meal in an attractive environment cannot be overstated or under-valued.
