The stunning restaurant, which is first of its kind in Philadelphia, will transport guests to the Greek Islands with an atmosphere reminiscent of an inviting Mediterranean home & a menu of authentic specialties, simply prepared, that represent the best of Greek cuisine. The restaurant specializes in whole grilled fish which are flown in from the Greek Islands, the shores of Morocco, Tunisia, & Portugal. Guests are able to choose from Estia’s expansive display & watch chefs cook their fish to perfection over a charcoal grill in the sparkling open kitchen.

Food was okay, appetizers were good, entries were meh. Red snapper was $44 per pound which is absurd but hey it is what it is lol. Overall a 6-7/10.

Estia is one of the best restaurants I have been to and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The lamb chops are absolutely amazing and mouthwatering! I’d recommend this place to everyone. My husband and I came to Estia in the fall of 2024 and spoke so highly of its, my twin and her husband and little sister joined us for Valentine’s Day 2025!

We always enjoy Estia’s Center City location which is ideal for events at the Academy of Music, Kimmel Center, etc. Yesterday was both Valentine’s Day and the Eagles Super Bowl victory parade, which shut down most roads around the restaurant, but the staff took it in stride. Our server was truly wonderful, as was the special Valentine’s Day menu!

Hear such nice things about ESTIA but we were not thrilled at all. When we arrived for our reservation, even though the main front part of the restaurant had MANY open tables, we were taken to a tiny table in the back right next to the kitchen area. Noise level there was terrible and I have hearing loss. Our first visit, and wow, not a great first impression. We asked to move to a quieter table and were walked through a tight maze of tables to a quieter table in a back corner. It seemed as if the restaurant had packed the guests too closely like sardines with extra tables added because of Valentines day. There was hardly any room to walk. DANGEROUS. When I tried to go use the restroom, getting through the dining room to the elevator was like running a gauntlet. I had to excuse myself around several tightly packed diners. On the way back, I tried the opposite route but there was again no room to pass behind tables. When I got to the small staircase near our table, I slipped and fell trying to work my way around a couple sitting with their coats literally blocking the floor and the bottom stair. I pointed this out. Nothing was done. The service and food was fine but it was such a difficult experience trying to navigate the dangerous dining room. REALLY?! Happy Valentines Day!

Top notch restaurant in the heart of Center City. Large menu with classic dishes, oysters, lamb shank, steak and a variety of fresh Mediterranean fish displayed on ice. Service for our table of 7 was outstanding, the server's name was Betty.
