Estera is housed in the historic district of downtown Christiansted on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our exciting take on classic American flavors filter through the dining experience—from the first bite to the last. Expect to see menu items that are uncategorized, fluid and changeable with consistent dinner specials.

Our open kitchen layout and intimate indoor space embodies an ambiance of clean simplicity, warm neutral tones, and a modern industrial feel. A reservation gets you access to our hand-crafted dining room tables, full kitchen menu, eclectic cocktails, and specialty wines.     Multiple dates available
    Join us at Estera for an intimate evening of fine wine and delectable food. Once a month we feature a different theme, ranging from regions of the world to individual vineyards. Our wine experience features four courses of different wine varietals that are accompanied with our Chef's curated food pairing menu. The night will entail an interactive tasting with guest speakers describing the history of the selected wines and Chef's choice of menu. Reservations are required as seating is limited.

    The waiter from Salt Lake City was impeccable. The food was great. Wahu and risotto cooked to perfection. The brushetta wonderful. My husband loved the curry dish. On another note: the restroom was not desirable, clean and does not reflect the ambiance of the restaurant. Small improvement would improve the total experience.

    Absolutely wonderful. Small place suggest reservations. Food was wonderful. Had local catch Wahoo and braised Short Rib. Just absolutely fantastic.

    My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Estera. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. This was our second visit and we will definitely return. We highly recommend Estera to anyone who wants great food, service and atmosphere in Christiansted.

    We had a nice date night for our first night in STX. The sushi was fresh and delicious, we decided to sample all the options and were not disappointed. Definitely would recommend. Oh, and don’t miss out on their cocktails. The Nespresso Martini was a hit!

    Great food and service. Nice options off the regular menu and specials. It was a bit noisy, and the booth was not the most comfortable, but everything was fabulous otherwise. The dessert and coffee were a fantastic end to the evening as well. Order the short rib! It was to die for. Thanks to our server, Eugene, for making it a lovely night for our family!

    The woman who greeted us was lovely. She was professional and welcoming. Our server was nice, efficient, and helpful. The menu had some great options. We had the steak and the scallops. Both were good but we could not say excellent. I found the risotto to be salty, which is unusual. The scallops were salty on their own and I thought the risotto would help balance that out but it really didn't. Beverages were very good. We each ordered a cocktail and I had wine with my scallops, which complemented it quite well. For dessert, we opted for the cheesecake. It arrived very plain - just a piece of cheesecake with no garnishes. Overall, we would dine there again. It is a lovely restaurant.
