We waited forever to be sat, even with a reservation. No one approached us at the hostess podium. We had to wait for a large dinner party to leave before they could set up a table. I’ve had the veal parm here for years but this time it was undercooked. The grilled octopus remains their best appetizer. It alone is worth a visit.

The Erie Cafe is truly an old school place with top notch service, excellent food and drinks. It’s a hidden gem in Chicago! Can’t go wrong!
