   We have become Epoch regulars at Sunday Brunch. Food is always outstanding to complement the ambiance of the dining room. Our visit this week was definitely enhanced by the always charming greeter Chloe who stopped by the table a couple of times to assure we were getting along okay. It was our first time being served by Brendan who we understand most often works as bartender. His enthusiasm and competence shines just as brightly on the floor. The team is overseen on Sunday mornings by Food & Beverage Director Jordan who can always be seen with his sleeves rolled up collaborating with and encouraging his team. We'll be back soon.

   We were at the last seating on Thanksgiving day at 4pm. Not surprisingly things were beginning to get thin - we had to ask for the oysters to be restocked, they ran out of clean dinner plates at one point, and there was only decaf coffee available. The roast pork was dry and tough by then, too. We had to put our used plates on an empty table nearby as not enough staff to clean away between courses. Lots of choices for food but maybe not all the best quality, but the price maybe reflected that. Very utilitarian ambience, no atmosphere. No candles or greenery on the tables, or special lighting in the dining room.

   4pm seating at Thanksgiving buffet… which is kinda late, but ran out of things at buffet including plates, pies, cider… our drink order took a while… served after 2 tables seated after us. Strange arrangement for buffet… mussels and shrimp near carving station, not salads, but food was VERY tasty!

   Perhaps they are fine for a normal dinner or evening out but not for the Thanksgiving holiday. Only a couple items on the spread were truly tasty, desserts were of poor quality, and cider and cocoa were empty almost the entire time we were there. Service was sub-par. Ice- tea was served in an old fashioned glass and was $4 on top of the $70 each for the buffet. In the middle of our dinner we were called to tell us that we were a no show...we were eating already. Atmosphere was fine, just really disappointed in the overall experience based on the price.

   The organization for people entering and exiting was atrocious..Elderly people were forced to stand out in the pouring rain because they could not enter...People were also unable to exit because of the hoard of people at the door..Our server was excellent and extremely friendly..Very pricey but the food was great..They need to develop some better systems fir efficiency

   We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner buffet at the Exeter Inn. There were lots of choices in the buffet from roasted Turkey, salmon lots of veggie as well as stuffing soups and salads. Also shrimp cocktail, mussels and oysters. For dessert there was apple pie, pumpkin pie and different cheesecake as well as ice cream. The room was very comfortable and our waiter was very nice. They told us when we arrived that we had the table for 2 hours which was more than we needed. We will definitely return as it was a most enjoyable meal!

   Epoch has become our go-to place for Sunday brunch. Food is great including new menu additions. Christy and entire team are welcoming, professional and service-driven.

   Very limited menu. Food was average and overpriced. Service was subpar. We were seated and no one came to our table for 10 minutes. When server arrived, never introduced herself and greeted us with what do you want to drink? She mixed up our order. Even told us strawberry cheesecake for dessert and it was pineapple. Seemed very overwhelmed and inexperienced. Very disappointing experience for the money and 2.5 hours. Would not recommend.
