   Stephan and the rest of the team were friendly, welcoming, and always checking on us. Although the food took a little bit longer to serve but overall first time in epic restaurant was great!

   We love sitting outside with a view of the bridge, water, and Treasure Island. They provide heaters and blankets. Service is always outstanding. Their recommendations are great. They take very good care of you if you're celebrating something special. As you'd expect, we're there for the steaks. None of us eat beef often, so we pick this place because we know it'll be good.

   No complaints, overall a wonderful experience. Made reservations for my father’s 60th birthday. Service was excellent along with the food and drinks. Will definitely be returning.

   Overall, it's a good steakhouse. We weren't seated where we reserved due to some air drafting through the chef's table area. The tomahawk was okay, but the better value would have been the porterhouse. Brussel Sprouts were good, and the mac and cheese were also good. Would go back.

   Epic, but not in a good way. From Chicago and visiting SF. I read various reviews via Open Table and was confident in this recommended restaurant. FOOD: Oysters were fishy, tiny, and had an oder of seaweed. The calamari was tough and swimming in an odd choice of curry tasting sauce. In addition, half the plate of calamari was a sald of sort, which didn't match the menu description and was simply an odd culinary choice. The ribeye was subpar, tough from end to end, and generally not very good tasting. The cesar, hope you like cheese, was dunked in cheese dressing and topped with flakes of cheese. Should be called cesar cheese, not salad. SERVICE: We had an 8:30pm reservation, but it was obvious that the server was ready to close his stations and leave for the day. After feeling rushed, we ordered as quickly as possible. I will say that he was attentive but seemed generally annoyed. PHYSICAL SPACE: A bit run down, which is fine and not a deal breaker. However, on the way out, I decided to use the restroom 🚻 ; what a mistake. The oder of urin outside the door should have been a warning ⚠️ of what to expect. If you have ever been to a state park camping, it was that bad 😳. Overall, I recommend avoiding Epic.

   Waiter was superb in every way. Food almost perfect except I do not think that our main courses were brought to the table immediately after plated. I would go back and try one of their best steaks.

   Unfortunately they could not get my steak even close to the right temp. So disappointed.

    Epic Steak is the most epic restaurant! This evening was a special time for my daughter and myself. She is getting married this weekend. This special dinner grounded all our emotions in a beautiful setting…. Not only was the staff so attentive… But the food…absolutely incredible! We ordered the “best damn filet”.. which as it infers, is DAMN good! The truffle mac and cheese is like…what?! Illegal. Wow! The red wine beef sugo. Muah! Just like nonna makes it! What’s not to love. EPIC is epic! Thank you for a lovely night in bella San Francisco ❤️
