Customer service in Mexico is generally excellent, but this restaurant truly stands out. Even though it was completely full, our order started arriving at the table within just a few minutes. The coordination between the kitchen and the staff is exceptional. The food met our expectations and was delicious. We would definitely return.

We came here because we couldn’t get a reservation at Contramar and was told the menu is the same as their sister restaurant. Food was spectacular. Had the scallop tostada and the tuna tostada which were delicious. And the red and green fish did not disappoint. The service was very attentive and the waiter spoke wonderful english. Would highly recommend! Sat upstairs which was fairly quiet and serene with a nice view of the park across the street.

Sadly was not worth all the hype. We thought the food was just ok and there wasn’t much to the ambience. And my margarita was terrible 😵

Of many great meals we had in CDMX, this was without a doubt the best. The whole grilled fish was incredible, some of the best fish we’ve ever had. And our server Jonathan was outstanding! Obviously this is a restaurant for fish lovers, but if that’s you then you won’t be disappointed!

All of our entrees were delicious but portions were small for the price. We had questions about the menu but the waiter was difficult to understand in both Spanish and English so we were confused. Desserts looked better than they tasted.

What an amazing experience - food was delicious, service on point, and everything about the place was fantastic! The only thing we did care for was the pulpo and potato warm salad - the octopus was slimy. We loved the fish a talla, tuna tostada, shrimp aguachille and fig tart.

One could expect a signature dish to get jaded on Christmas Eve, but the Contremar Pescado a la talla, was the best fish I have ever tasted. Excellent.

Our “Contramar fish” was excellent. The presentation of all food as well as the ambience was underwhelming. This was not a fine dining experience. The service was very quick with busboys everywhere clearing tables and moving tables along. I wouldn’t recommend. I’m not sure if Contramar is different. The menus look identical.
