The ambience and drink prices were good. Unfortunately the food was terrible and the chef stopped cooking at 7pm on a Saturday night.

Overall the venue was cool and we had a fun time but the music was a bit too loud and majority of the bar staff were super rude.

Beyond poor service! I booked a table for 20 for dinner, the photos online are deceiving so it looked like you could eat there based on the menu. I even phoned to confirm my booking, informed them of having elderly disabled and was advised how to get them through an accessibility door. NO one advised this was a grunge pub / Club with limited seating, extremely loud music, table pub finger food and not for elderly in any way! They didn’t even have our booking when we arrived, after confirming via online and via a phone call. I had to walk 10 elderly in wheelchairs/scooters at last minute to another location 10mins away with extreme difficulty. Unacceptable!

Despite the booking being confirmed the Empire was closed. We turned up not knowing this and had picked up a friend from South of the River. It was very difficult to find alternative dining due to the time. The booking should not have been confirmed.
