Emma Jane is that perfect something special! We enjoyed an incredible charcuterie board and the best shoe string fries I’ve ever come across. Service and ambience was excellent, can’t wait to come back!

Emma Jane has some work to do if they are going to make it in Houston. Poor service, not a good value. The tea was served cold, the food is average at best and to top things off the valet lost my car. Big disappointment.

The seats were close to each other, the table was small, and the valet parking took a long time. I don’t think I’ll go back again.

Pros: gracious host, beautiful table setting, food is flavorful. Cons: limited parking, table reservation at 12:15 was not available till 1:30 due to many "walk-ins", somewhat tight table placements in the bar area, somewhat slow wait service today

Overall the place is beautiful. The staff are nice. The food is good. It is just the service that is terrible. Which is such a shame. I think it is because the place is new and just opened. However, they need to trained their staff better and everyone needs to be on the same page. I would give it another chance to see if things get any better. The manger adjusted our bill. He took off so much stuff because they messed up so much with our food and tea. But to be honest, we don’t need things to be taken off, we rather have a good experience as a family for my step daughter 13th birthday. We want to make it special and a good birthday for her since it is the first time without her me-maw not having tea with her. I really want it to turn out good. So much high hopes.

Ashley and Kelsey were excellent servers. The bartender made a perfect bloody Mary, and we loved the spinach salad with pomegranate and grapefruit along with the Montecristo sandwich. This was a holiday lunch with a 93 years young neighbor, and it was delightful!

The space is absolutely beautiful. Very elegant and perfect for an afternoon tea. The service, however, was a bit slow. It took 15 minutes from the time we sat downfor the server to come to our table. He would disappear for long periods of time and it was probably over 30 minutes before we finally got our tea tower. The teas were good, but the food wasn’t great. The bread on the sandwiches was dry, as though the sandwiches had been made very early in the day and left out to sit. We asked for jam & clotted cream with our biscuits. The clotted cream came out dry and cracked, as though it had also been prepared much earlier in the day and left to sit. The biscuits and sweets were very good. Overall, the experience was ok, but for the price and quality of the food (and tip already included) I’m not sure I will be back.

The restaurant is set back in a residential area where there are beautiful trees and shade along the sidewalks. The construction of the building is phenomenal. There are a lot of windows with natural light and the furnishings could not have been more perfect for the space. The team that work the restaurant are on point. They are definitely there to make sure your experience is enjoyable. The food was not only beautiful, but fantastic as well. You must try their French 75.
