   We love Emily. One of the best burgers in the city. And the Detroit style pizza is a great sharing plate. Cozy village vibe and great service.

   TLDR: I really wanted to love Pizza Loves Emily, but if Emily really loved pizza (or burgers, or hot fries for that matter), she wouldn’t eat here — that is for sure. We started with the Caesar salad, which was actually quite good — crisp lettuce and a fresh, flavorful dressing. Unfortunately, that was the high point. Before we even got a chance to dig into the salad, our burgers were brought out — maybe three minutes later. I mentioned to the server that we had just gotten our starter, and he said “oh sorry,” but left the plates anyway. By the time we got to the burgers, they were soggy and barely warm. The fries had great seasoning but were ice cold. Our server checked on us once early on and then didn’t glance in our direction for another 45 minutes. No water refills, no check-in, nothing. The pacing and attentiveness were completely off. Disappointing experience overall.

   Emmy burger is totally unbelievable. Everything is world class. The puck, bread, wafer fries, cheese, sauce. Ranked #2 by burgerdudes but it must be worlds best burger !

   Service was challenging. Four people, all of our entrees were delivered separately and spaced out far enough that we finished one after another. Very odd. Runners brought items to the wrong table twice - it was multiple issues unfortunately and for the cost of the experience very disappointing. It was our anniversary and we hoped to stay for dessert and drinks but it was such a bummer we finished our night elsewhere.
