The Elysian Cafe is a casual French-American restaurant with a large bar area, quiet back dining room and a large outdoor dining area. Located in Hoboken, NJ it is the oldest owned and operated bar in Hoboken. Beautiful 100 year old plaster ceilings span the entire inside dining area, giving a warm feeling for the dining experience. The outdoor dining cafe brings you right to the streets of Paris and are adorned in white flowers and shaded areas. The Elysian Cafe is a great place to grab a quick bite, meet up with old friends for a chatty afternoon or have a quiet dinner date.

Loved our dinner at Elysian Cafe. Food great, it was 2 for 1 entrees so a great deal! Packed so noisy, but food delish! Service was a little lacking but I think that was because they were so busy.

I found this place in a Pet friendly app so it suposse to accept dogs, but when I arrived they do not aloud me to enter with my little puppy. They also said that I just have the bar menu as option because the entire menu starts at 5, it was 4 pm, and when I booked it doesn't say anuthing about it.

It was "Kids Eat Free" night so the place was energetic indeed. But our servers did an admirable job taking care of us despite quite a few distractions, the food was it's usual "delicious", and the experience, as always, good-spirited and welcoming.
