Our waitress was Brenda and we cannot say enough about her. Personable, knowing all the food available. Very helpful from start to end. Lovely visit

Loved our lunch - service was excellent & so was food! I would have added some extra things for ambience ( something for table - a flower - something green , a candle , Christmas decoration. I would have appreciated different lights to set mood for dining - I felt like I was in a cafeteria- either dimmer lights or mini lights scattered in the room - other than that very happy

Food was expensive and smelled/tasted horrible. We had the scallops for appetizer and they smelled rancid (even the table beside us told the manager that they could smell it too). Then came the entree, beef tenderloin with shrimp. The shrimp tasted/smelled the same as the scallops, and the beef tenderloin was ok but nothing special. We barely took 2 bites from the entree before we stopped eating. Thankfully the manager did not charge us for this dinner. For these prices, the food should be incredible, but McDonald's would have tasted better. Our waitress Kim was nice, though.

Gluten friendly options are very limited more so than before. I don’t understand how the crime brûlée has become not gluten friendly, any recipe for this has no gluten in it. Salad only as a gluten friendly option is ridiculous as many road house restaurants can do a better job. Our server Kathy was amazing as always, too bad the restaurant doesn’t live up to the staff.

Elm Hurst always has and will always be my first choice to dine when it comes to celebrating special &/or significant events. The charm radiates throughout the beautifully restored rooms and a grandeur that once was.
