   Food was surprisingly underwhelming. For vegetarians, there is only one entree option on the menu, which is roasted asparagus, carrots, and mushrooms. I have tried many Turkish restaurants in the city, and this one is disappointing. Great ambiance, though.

   There need to be a few more vegetarian entrees beyond the one vegetable dish they had. Plenty of other Mediterranean spots have these. $30 for sautéed vegetables as an entree didn’t make sense. Everything else from ambiance to service was excellent! Very much appreciated some of the special requests we had made as well.

   Food tasted great. I got the fish stew which had amazing flavor but none of the mussels opened. The kitchen should have caught that. The service was brutal. The restaurant was half empty but they had us wait at the bar. Rather than push two of the many square tables together to make a four top, they pushed two round tables which make sharing the appetizers super awkward.

Regarding the seating situation, we initially had a table reserved for your party of three that comfortably accommodated your group. When we learned about the unexpected fourth guest, we made adjustments with the tables that were available at the moment to ensure you had the necessary space. Unfortunately, the square tables were all reserved for large parties that arrive shortly after you. We appreciate your understanding as we worked to accommodate the change.    Everything was wonderful! The food, the cocktails, appetizers, the ambiance and we even got limoncello as a treat at the end of the evening. Just lovely My favorite part of all: the name of the restaurant!!! ELIA ❤️

   The food in the ambience were great unfortunately we had a horrible server in a very tall dark Turkish guy. He seemed to resent being asked for things for ewhen he brought the wrong drinks. It made him even even matter he was clearly having a bad night.  it was the evening of Christmas the 25th and as a former longtime server and bartender myself, he would’ve gotten a huge tip and I almost never get under 10% but I did this night because not because of bad service but because he clearly had a bad attitude… It was a 330 something dollar tab and I gave him 9%…i would’ve easily given him $80 that night if he even had an ounce of kindness in him

   We had a party of 6 reservation for the Christmas Day dinner. We have arrived and waited for the water 1 minutes to be brought after we asked for it, then we had to wait and ask again for the drinks. The appetizers were okay but one was the wrong one. The food was brought aftermore than an hour after people who came after us had theirs brought. The restaurant charges a Service Charge of 18% if booked through Oen table and no matter how poor the service was, there was no offer to alleviate the inconvenineces from the manager who did not even greeted us when we left although we wished her Merry Christmas. Noise level was loud and the restaurant was not busy. Very poor service, food was okay but too pricey. We will never return to this place again. Stay away from it!

   This restaurant has a variety of tasty choices. My soup was spiced just right, it came in a rustic bowl with a generous side of homemade bread. I especially loved the Turkish coffee!

    Super fun, upbeat vibe. LOVE the wall murals. Food was good and our server was excellent.
