First time at this location. I reserved using OpenTable and had not wait time for our table when we arrived. Server came within minutes to get our drink order and drop off the menus. The have Happy Hour specials until 9pm every night, but we decided to get something from the dinner menu. Food was very good and the portions where just right. Our server was very nice and the atmosphere was good. Not at all crowded. The only issue we had was parking, the restaurant shares the parking lot with a big strip mall that has other restaurants and shops so be mindful to get here with enough time to find parking or use their Valet service. We lucked out and found a parking spot on the street. Overall we had a very good experience here and will return when we need to get a nice date night spot to have dinner. Highly recommend El Torito- Sherman Oaks

Went there on a Sunday which we normally don't do because it's very crowded and incredibly noisy, which is why we made a reservation and requested a table outside. They have an all you can eat, buffet which draws a lot of people and is quite expensive but includes bottomless mimosas. They will make things from the regular menu, which is a nice touch. Their prices have increased dramatically, which is to be expected, but the food is always plentiful and consistently good. Bottom line, if you want to have a relatively quiet meal, definitely choose an outside table , or go there during the week.
