El Pinto is open for outdoor covered patio dining and indoor seating.

Open daily. Monday through Thursday from 11am-9pm. Friday & Saturday 11am-10pm. Sunday 10:30am-9pm.

Nestled in the cottonwoods, El Pinto was founded with 10 tables in 1962. Twin brothers John and Jim Thomas, carry on the family tradition and have expanded El Pinto into the quintessential "Spot" for healthy and fresh New Mexican cuisine. Experience an authentic Taste of New Mexico.

The Salsa Twins are pairing tradition with innovative healthy nutrition at El Pinto. El Pinto established the first and only Animal Welfare Approved laying hen program on property. 250 hens lay pasture raised eggs for daily use. An onsite green house produces over 5,000 lbs of organically grown greens.

Freshness is throughout El Pinto. El Pinto uses chile from Hatch, NM, pasture raised pork from Kyzer Farms, and local grass fed beef.

They say us in I’m not sure if it was a smoking section or just around people who smelled that bad. Other than that our experience was amazing over all a 8/10

I had huevos rancheros which were delicious. Other members of the party had chicken enchiladas, burrito, & enchilada & relleno plate. All very delicious and everyone was very pleased.

El Pinto's staff went above and beyond to accommodate my father and I when one of the ingredients in our dish was out of stock. We felt fortunate to receive such delicious and healthy modifications. Our server, Drew, was so professional and incredibly kind. It was a five star dining experience :-).

We have eaten several times at El Pinto, but this might be the last. Our group had all three of the "Combo Plates". Terrible, just Terrible... The "rolled tacos" were hard and brittle and looked and tasted like they were cooked in a deep fat fryer. The tamale was tasteless and almost cold like it was was taken out of a box of frozen tamales. The enchilada was mysterious, not sure what it was, certainly not eatable. The "honey" did not taste like honey (fake?). The basket of chips was just broken pieces. The server was nice but we did not see her very much, big table near us I guess. Look you guys, yes you have a beautiful restaurant , but last night your food was very very sub-par and way way over priced! Chef, take a serious look at what you are serving to you guests. And "Twins," somebody is not performing well on you team! Your competition is far superior.

We had a lovely date night at El Pinto. We were seated in a room with a glowing and warming fireplace in the "outside area." Our drinks were excellent as was our food - red chile ribs and chile relleno. It was a nice, relaxing atmosphere with a very Christmas vibe. We highly recommend.
