   We had a fabulous time at El Chorro --- attentive and friendly service, spectacular meals and we also bought a few more sticky buns to take home with us. Love this place for special occasions - or really any time - because the surroundings are beautiful and the people always take such good care of us. Always look forward to going back.

   We always love El Chorro, but we had a bad experience there recently. Friends ordered beef stroganoff thinking it would just be typical stroganoff. The dish came with onion and pea pods which was not listed on the menu. Very disappointed. Fortunately they comped his meal. You should be more straightforward on meal descriptions!

   Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere! Even with two separate wedding events going on at the same time, the restaurant felt completely separate. Highly recommend for date night! Weather permitting; choose to sit outside. We will return.

   It had been several years since we last enjoyed the restaurant. Wasn’t quite the same. Difficult to have a romantic evening due to noise level, and oversized tables. We also felt rushed with our meal as everything arrived much faster than needed. Food quality was still there. Next time we go I need to ask the waiter to slow things down. I’ve always thought this is one of the better restaurants in the Phoenix area so will definitely give it another try. Respectfully John R.
