   Such a great dinner! The staff had wonderful recommendations and explained the dishes and menu thoroughly. The carne asada was fantastic!

   We did the tasting menu and it is fantastic, everything with such different and unique flavor profiles with the perfect texture and acid. Not many tastings I would repeat, but this one I would. I will be back soon!

   Love El Carlos Elegante. The charred octopus was the winner tonight. So tender and with an amazing citrus jicama sauce. Friendly bartenders and staff. Can’t wait to go back!

   Food and drinks tastes great. Valet was complimentary. Waitress was nice. However the staff kept coming over asking if we were done with our food too often so it felt like we were being rushed to eat quickly and leave. We were out for girls night to catch up and kept getting interrupted every 10min or so by different staff members. Attentiveness is nice but in my opinion it was overdone. The music and ambience were also great.

   We enjoyed the CE Exerience. It was excellent. It allows guest to sample yo menu. The atmosphere has a Mexico City vibe. Large tequila menu, wines from Chile. The service is over the top. Guest watching is fun. Lots of well dressed beautiful people but it’s not overwhelming. Overall Carlos Elegante is well-elegant!

   Took my girlfriend’s mom here to ask for her blessing. We had a great experience and the waitress made it a very special night. The ambience is unique. We enjoyed the crab cake and refried lentils. The machete with chicken tinga was outstanding. Will definitely return.

   The food, service and ambience were fantastic. The recipes were delicious - great flavor combinations (roasted beet salad with pistachios and grapefruit!!). Every dish, sauce is made in house. I really liked the menu options offering a handful of dishes per category. 3 dessert options and they were all amazing with creative twists to familiar options. I was in town for a conference for 5 nights - and as a self proclaimed food snob, this was by far the best restaurant. I will always go to this place when I’m in Dallas!

    Everything on the menu is delicious ! Excellent and attentive service. Best place to celebrate Birthdays and special occasions.
