    My friend and I really enjoyed our lunch at Eight4Nine. We shared Eggs Benedict and the outrageously good deconstructed S'mores dessert. I consider myself an Eggs Benedict aficionado, and I have to say this was the best Hollandaise I have had for a long time! the desert was the stuff of my dreams. Excellent service by Sandy, delightful cool ambience, delicious food...what more could one picky diner ask for? Thank you to all, and look forward returning soon.

    This is the first time that I didn’t have a great experience here. The service was spotty—I believe our server was assigned too many tables including a large party that took time and attention from us. There were long gaps between appearances. The oysters came out without oyster forks or plates to put them on, other than our bread plates. We made do but I was embarrassed because it was a special occasion for someone who is used to far superior service than we received tonight. I will have to think twice next time I have to choose a favorite place to take out of town/country guests to. :(

    This continues to be my “go back to” restaurant. I eat all meals out so I’ve been in many locations in Palm Springs. There are great restaurants in Palm Springs but this continues to get my 5 stars.

    Beautiful restaurant, great service. There were four of us dining for breakfast. We all had different entrees. None of us really liked our meals. It was sad since the ambience was so amazing. The bacon Bloody Mary was exceptional.

    Salmon was in a puddle of orange juice that was supposed to be a reduction. Ahi poke and poached pear salad very god. Service was meh despite being empty.
