   The food and service were exceptional. However I was shocked by the amount of dust on the fixtures. The light scone on the wall right above my table was covered in a thick coat of dust. It’s not what I’d expect at an upscale restaurant. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

   we really enjoyed our dinner at EV’s for restaurant week. The food was amazing. The restaurant is lovely and our service was outstanding. Thank you.

   We went for a restaurant week. I would’ve preferred that the waiter greeted us as guests. Instead he inquired if we were there as “frequent flyers” or there for restaurant week. What difference does it make? We’ve been to Eddie V’s before but we usually go for special events. Otherwise the service, atmosphere and complimentary valet was very good. My husband ordered the 22 oz ribeye and he said it was very good and had great flavor. I ordered the Norwegian salmon to be cooked medium. After the first bite I realized that it wasn’t fully cooked (raw towards the middle). I sent it back and when they brought it back I then thought it was dry and possibly overcooked. I personally feel like it’s not that hard to cook salmon correctly. This is why I gave the food 4 stars. Lastly, we ordered the banana foster for dessert and it was excellent.

   It was restaurant week so the place was packed which contributed to the noise level. We didn't like being seated in the middle without any wall or half wall behind us. But that is a minor point. My ribeye was the best I have ever eaten and presented well with just the right amount of mashed potatoes. We said how we forget about Eddie Vs and that we need come back more often.

   Experiences at any restaurant can be taunted by bad service and/or bad food. BUT that is not the case here, ribeyevwas cooked asc requested and was delicious and tender. Salt and pepper shrimp was very tasty, wish I had ordered more. Chilean sea bass was light, cooked to perfection and was in a Asian broth that compliment the fish. These 2 NYC women will definitely be back. Worth the money.

   Our experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The 24 Karat cocktail was crisp and refreshing. The crispy salt and pepper shrimp was delicate and bursting with asian influenced flavors but the star of the show was the filet mignon cooked to medium rare perfection! It is simply the best steak I have ever experienced. Tender and melt in your mouth delicious! Our server Tiffany was excellent! Attentive, pleasant and informative.

    Our server, Bridget, was very attentive. She was knowledgeable about the liquor list and the food menu. The striped bass was cooked to perfection! I had the bananas foster for dessert. I did not expect her to light it at the table. Impressive!
