My and my friend can here for Dine Out. We found the host snotty...needing an attitude adjustment. Our waiter was very pleasant, he only forgot to bring our bread when requested. We got it after our entree. Maybe it is not served when one comes out for Dine Out. The soup was so delicious, my friend said if she was home she would lick the bowl. I spooned every drop. She said the vegetable portion was really small...like 15 string beans. It was definitely portioned out. My string beans were the same. I got the upgraded filet mignon....delicious. All the food was great. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and ambience. I would go back.

We arrived early for our reservation. There were 4 or 5 tables occupied bar was quiet. We were seated and waited for almost 15 min before being acknowledged. We were very close to walking out. There really is no reason for this in an empty restaurant. The server was super friendly and humorous . However, The server would only come by about every 10-15 minute's and didn't check on us after the food was delivered to make sure all was ok. We would have had more drinks but he just wasn't very attentive to us. If i didn't know better i would think he had tables in a different restaurant down the block....that's really how little we saw of him. He definitely had no tables in our section. The food arrived cooked correctly and was good albeit not super hot but ok. We would return but would likely sit at the bar.

The staff was not organized. At a fine dining restaurant I would expect the hostess to hand you the wine list when seated not just put it on the table and walk away. It took a long time to get a glass of water served the our original drink order. When seated our party has already had time review the entire menu for our dinner order before a drink order was even placed. Ordered a lobster tail as an add on to steak and it did not come out with the rest of the meal. For a party of 3, 2 of the steaks had to be sent back because of undercooked. 1 steak was sent back twice. Food was good but nothing special which would make me have to go back. It felt like the staff was inexperienced.

We had an amazing dining experience at Eddie Merlot’s in Boston! The ambiance was perfect—elegant yet comfortable, making for a great night out. I had the Filet Del Mar, a fantastic surf and turf that was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with a refreshing Paloma. We ended the meal with a delicious crème brûlée that was perfectly creamy with a crisp caramelized top. The only minor letdown was the espresso martini, which I wished had been dry shaken for a foamier finish. Despite that, everything else was outstanding. Our server, Maria, was attentive and made the night even better. We were visiting from New York and would love to return next time we’re in town!
