   We were overall impressed with our experience at East Side Mario's. It was our first visit to the Red Deer location and it was a great atmosphere! Our food was impressive as far as portion goes. However, one round of salad could have used more dressing and my wife's seafood linguine did not have alot of flavour throughout. I had the chicken parmesan and felt that it could have also had a bit more "Italian" flavour. Our server was good, not great. At one point, she brought a salad to our table that we never ordered. As well, she never checked on our meal to see if it was to our liking. We will definitely return as our overall experience was enough to bring us back. The portions were fantastic and we both brought home leftovers.

   A quiet Tuesday night. Service was great. Waitress timed the order perfectly. Great as always.

   We had a reservation, still had to wait. We had to wait to be served for a long time, our bread was frozen in the middle, forgot our salad. Our meal was good though. Didn’t complain to the waitress, she seemed to be frazzled already. I just had the fettuccine Alfredo, which was great. Two others had shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and a chicken Alfredo, they said were great, and one other had the spaghetti and meatballs which she said was great. Would go again.

   It was Tuesday which was $2 per child meal. The bill came & we were charged full price. It took to long to have it corrected. My husband asked if he got garlic toast with it & the waitress said yes, she brings that out after we order. They brought out one small/long bun for us (2 adults/2 children) so we each got about 3/4 inch slice. My one grandson burnt his hand on the plate. I touched the other grandchilds plate & it was hot. The waitress should have said something instead of just plunking them down in front of the children. My husband said there was absolutely no flavor to his meal & he will not be going back. He had sea food linguine. I had Alfredo & penne noodles and the sauce was only so runny & had no flavor. There was actually quite a bit of liquid(not sauce) on the bottom of my plate. I thought the price we paid for the 2 meals & the $4 for the kids was priced to high.
