   An overall excellent experience. Service was outstanding. Food was excellent, all five people in the group said their meal was both delicious and generously portioned. Very good value for money. A great choice for a meal out.

   Server had no idea that brunch was available on Boxing Day, even though the website advertised it and there was a board outside the main doors. Finally, she checked with the manager.

   Earls is our favourite restaurant, however this time, the service was pathetic (can’t find a stronger word than that). The waitress never bothered to check that the water jug was empty at our table right after we sat as we poured water in our glasses. She never bothered to see if it needs to be refilled and she kept hovering around but we couldn’t get her attention to get us water and then when we asked another waitress for water she vanished saying she will get us water in a moment but never brought it though we could see her chit chatting at another table long beyond taking her order. We would have sat at our table for +15 min just to get water and then finally I walked to a corner console where there were few water jugs to get water for my family myself. At the end when she came she didn’t bother to ask if we would like to have dessert and we had by that time had lost all patience to stay at the restaurant. A busy restaurant is not a reason to not check at the table to see what is required and an empty jug should be visible and be refilled even without asking for it.

   Good experience today. Service was prompt. Restaurant was a few minutes late opening up at posted time of 11:30.

   Always have liked Earls Square One and have been many times but this time around it didn't quite live up to expectations. It was far too loud to really have any kind of a conversation and while our server was friendly and professional, she left us waiting too long at times. Food was pretty good but not served hot enough so it may have been waiting somewhere before being served. Call out to the hostesses who seated us who were excellent and also made a point of wishing us well on our way out when we departed which is always a nice touch.

   Wide tables and comfortable seating means lots of space for food, but not as intimate for sitting close on a date. The candlelight, soft colours, and overall colours make for a cool, subtle upscale experience. The decor does well to counterbalance the overstimulation of being in such an enthusiastic volume of other diners. Delicious desserts (carmelized cheesecake and the seasonal pecan tart were great), and the plant-based options are a blessing for vegetarian diners. Pay attention that the V on the menu means the dish can be made vegetarian, but does not seem to be inherently vegetarian. Mention your food restrictions up front! Staff were polite with great memories, and checked in, but were not nosy. It struck a good balance. Paying is an atypical touchscreen but smooth. Bathroom doors are very heavy without automation, so heads up for accessibility concerns.

    Food delivery was slow. I ordered the 6 oz steak and frites (happy hour) and was told that it sold out but a 9 oz was available at full price. The steak and frites arrived and the fries were T best warm. The steak was perfect. Ordered a Stella and when it arrived it was "Flat".
