    Had lunch today with a friend at Sherway Earl’s. I had the pulled chicken club and he ordered the margherati pizza. We both enjoyed the meals and were pleased by the professionalism of the serving staff.

    Enjoyed the restaurant not the server was excellent.I ordered the Poké bowl and substituted The rice with more vegetables. I was happy to have had that option. Unfortunately they put too much dressing in poke bowl. I wish I had ordered the dressing on the side so I could add what I want in terms of dressing into the poke bowl with the extra vegetables.

    Food was very good, environment was excellent, service excellent. Waiter very friendly and seemed to know when to check on us. Overall an excellent experience. Would definitely return again.

    The menu is fantastic and we really enjoyed the seafood tower ~ but about 15 minutes into our appetizer the AC went on full blast (it’s November and 8 degrees Celsius outside). We flagged down our waitress to ask her to see about turning the AC off: her response ~ “oh yeah. We hear lots of complaints about it, but it’s controlled off site and there is nothing we can do”. Then our main courses came ~ the Tuna Poke and Sesame Salad both were served with cubed tuna sashimi (not the sliced sashimi shown in the picture), the steak filet was inedible (impossibly chewy) and when the manager arrived to apologize for the poor steak quality ~ we asked for warmer temp or at least the AC to be turned off. She too said, yes common complaint, nothing we can do, but I can bring everyone blankets ~ truly??? If a restaurant needs blankets on hand, they absolutely KNOW there is an ongoing issue. To top it all off, after eating our meals with blankets & our coats on (it was that cold) we requested the check, instead the waitress cleared the table and then forgot about bringing the check ~ all we wanted was to get out of the frozen seats!! It took tracking down a manager to get the bill! They told us as we entered that our table was reserved for 90 minutes, we told them we only had 90 minutes as we had movie tickets ~ we then reiterated to the waitress that we needed our check quickly as we had a movie to get to ~ she instead cleared the table as slowly as possible and then disappeared. The food and the AC were not the waitress’s fault, but disappearing and after waiting 10 minutes before seeking out a manager certainly did! We won’t return ~ and we were not the only patrons in jackets ~ if you plan to go anytime between now and summer all I can say is dress accordingly.

    Our meal was delicious. I appreciate the plant based menu! Our server was so lovely and she brought us two little birthday cakes for dessert as a surprise. Highly recommended!

    I ordered the ribs which was delicious. The chowder was too salty. The service was lacking. Our server hardly checked on us.

    Earl's usually is a great place but tonight was terrible. We waited quite along time to place our order then at least an hour to receive out food. Then no one came back for us to ask for our bill so we had to go to the front hostess to ask for our bill

    Server was slow...she had too many other tables to deal with. The meat in my meal had fat on it that I had to spit out. Not impressed.
