   I was pleased to see a vegan pizza with vegan cheese rather than a chees-less option. Unfortunately, it was so rich and fatty, consisting of mostly cream cheese and cheese, that I couldn't finish it. Even another person in my party tried it and said "yeah, my whole pallet is coated with just cream cheese. I wouldn't want that as my whole meal". So I left with half a pizza in a takeout box but still hungry.

   Forgot about us twice and had to find the server both times. They did comp one meal and provided a cheesecake to go, acknowledging they did forget. Overall manager was good but server was dismissive. But Earls is great food. Thank you

   You always know what you’re getting here. Very similar to others in the chain, clearly the same menu. I was surprised how good the oysters were as Earl is not a place. I would ordinarily consider ordering oysters. Servers or nice and efficient. Also quite attentive. As always, I find Earl’s a bit overpriced for the quality and amount of food. In this case, this version of Earls is quite loud as it is a wide open space.  All in all if you enjoy Earl, this is a good one.

   A few hiccups. Scanned the Earls code on Robson sy to buy a $100 gift card with includes a later use $20 card with my Canadian credit card. $100 posted in USD!!!! Eventually a manager was going to reverse a similar amount. Ordered their happy hour steak — asked for the Cajun spice as I’ve had it many times with no extra charges. This time a $4 surcharge for a spice. Hmmm it was a birthday event as noted on the reservation. Nothing was offered until we had to ask. Eventually a micro chocolate muffin tasting item appeared. Wasn’t worth the hassle. Not the best experience today at Earls.

   Attentive and responsive service. Accommodating to our slow pace during a quieter time. Food was delicious. An enjoyable meal and get together with friends.

    Seemed to be very understaffed. The guy running the hostess stand was out of his depth. Didn’t know what he was doing. He ran our pizza to the table. Dropped it off without saying a word. Did not bring any side plates etc. looked like there was only one server for the whole section of the restaurant. He was doing his best but was stretched very thin. More staff did arrive and things got a little better. We had a great time at this location 2 x over the summer. I’m not sure I would return. It was my husband’s birthday as well. Not impressed at all.
