   Service was just ok. They didn’t seem to really care. Served bottled beer after claiming it was tap. Also, some of the food was so awful some of our party couldn’t even finish it. The food we did eat just wasn’t that good. Regrettably, I wouldn’t return.

   Best swordfish I think I’ve ever had. Personally greeted at the table by the owner who shared his cooking method. Some standard Italian dishes and others with inventive flair. Great wine list by the glass. We will be back.

   I took a star off because of inconsistent service and a lukewarm dish, which was disappointing for a restaurant of this scale. Our server just didn’t seem very engaged with us. He didn’t mention the chef specials, recommend anything, or really show much energy at our table. Meanwhile, at the tables next to us, it was a completely different vibe. He was cracking jokes, sharing what the chef specials were, and even recommending dessert with excitement (like telling someone how amazing the cake was as they looked at the menu). Watching him be so warm and lively with other tables while being so “meh” with us felt disappointing. At a restaurant like this, I feel like the service should be consistently great no matter where you’re sitting. On top of that, the Bolognese pasta was lukewarm when it came out. It’s such a shame because the flavors were really good, and I could tell it would’ve been amazing if it had been hot. The food was good overall, but the uneven service and lukewarm dish took away from what could’ve been a much better experience.

   This was my first experience at D'Vino to celebrate my son's graduation....we were very impressed both with food and service. Though our table was not ready, everyone at the restaurant went out of their way just to make sure we had comfortable seating at the bar till our table was ready... Highly recommended.

   On a busy Friday night service and ambiance were great as was food. Asked for our salads before entree,however, and they came about the same time. Will certainly come again!

   Pasta was not the best, pretty watered down and not much flavor. Although calamari, clams, and wine were great. Overall would not recommend if looking for good authentic pasta.

   We had a wonderful dining experience at D’Vino! It’s everything that’s great about Italian food and drink. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service is perfect, and the heart and soul is the chef and owner Dino Maniaci who creates the magic for a great evening out!

   D'Vino is a classic Italian gem in the heart of downtown Madison. Extensive menu of not only food but drinks. Everyone in our party of six loved their choices. Bustling atmosphere that does get a little loud when at capacity. However, I assume that is because of the acoustics of the space itself. Would most certainly go back.

    This was one of the most delightful evenings we’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. It wasn’t just that every dish was wonderful, but it was a charming venue, nice and quiet, and every one of the staff was just so friendly that they made our experience even better! We just could not have had a nicer experience and we will be back!
