For decades, Dunston's Steakhouse in Dallas has served classic steaks and other home-style Texas dishes in its relaxing and welcoming restaurant. The breaded and fried mushroom poppers and the tender calamari make delectable appetizer selections. Some of Dunston's Steakhouse's specialty entrée dishes include fried chicken breast, the grilled farm raised catfish and the grilled salmon, all of which come with sides like our famous salad bar (voted Dallas' best) butter beans, fried okra, baked potato and sautéed fresh spinach and broccoli. Of course, Dunston's Steakhouse is all about top-quality mesquite grilled steaks, like the bone-in ribeye, the bacon-wrapped filet and the New York strip, all prepared to order. Daily specials are also not to be missed and include such dishes as the Tuesday baby back ribs and the Thursday chicken pot pie. Should you wish to end on a sweet note, indulge in Dunston's Steakhouse's Jack Daniel's bread pudding or Key Lime Pie.

Chris is an outstanding server. We always ask for one of his tables. He never disappoints. And, of course the food is consistently good. That’s why eat here several times a month.

Service was great!! Dunston’s has gone downhill… the steaks all over cooked sides came out cold and the salad bar was half empty and that’s now happened multiple times in a row…. Also when you make reservations on line and request the back room a week in advance they don’t check the requests so don’t waste your time putting in notes or requests. 40+ years of coming here and won’t be back.

Nothing beats the back room. Quiet, cozy and comfortable. Awesome food and the best salad bar in town.

I usually have one of the bacon-wrapped filets and they are always yummy. The salad bar is one of the best in Dallas. This place has been here a long time and it feels that way inside. Park Cities people are packing the place even on weeknights.
