   Everyone in our world has been telling us that we have to try Dunsmoor; it's the best restaraunt in Los Angeles. That's verbatim what everyone has told us. So, naturally, going into this experience, my wife and I had high hopes and usually, those hopes are generally squashed quickly. Not so with Dunsmoor. It was an incredible experience and it lived up to the proverbial hype. I found the restaurant to be inviting, charming and perfectly lit. I found the service to be superb. My wife and I were met with wonderful hospitality. The food was exceptional and even more impressive is the thought that all of the prep work for dinner is done so without the use of any electric. Elbow grease only. I don't care how you look at it, that's impressive. You should absolutely attempt to make a trip to Dunsmoor if you have the opportunity to do so. It is unequivocally worth it.

   Amazing food and vibe. Music is spectacular as well. Amberjack, oysters, cornbread were my favorite dishes. Want to come back and try the rib eye

   First experience here was great but the 2nd time around, service was TERRIBLE, took forever to get our food and even the appetizers and the food wasn’t great at all! Portions have gotten super small. Not sure what changes have been made in the last 2 months but this place is definitely not worth the money.

   Amazing food and outstanding service! This was my second time here and I was just as impressed as the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Dunsmoor!

   Excellent preparation and management of an open wood / coal fire grill. Pork chop was excellent, and they were able to accommodate my date who is a vegetarian.

   Really good Friday night experience. Table of 2, first time diners at this restaurant so we ordered a lot of dishes to try as was recommended by our server. The food was really delicious especially the trout entree and roasted veggies. The Carolina Gold rice dish however was over salted. Overall though the meal felt very rushed. The food came out right on top of each other with no time in between courses to savor the meal. What should have been a pleasant 90 min experience was a rushed 45 minutes. It was early in the night, no one waiting for our table so I'm not sure why the pacing was so fast. As we were eating a course, a food runner kept coming by to check if we were done so she could clear the dishes but couldn't get her to refill our water. After one ice tea full of ice and very little liquid, we waited half the meal to be brought another one. So some odd moments of inconsistent service but the food itself was why we came and the star of the night.

    It’s rare that I experience a restaurant that doesn’t miss on every dish! I was blown away by the delicious food and wine. Hands down one of my favorite places!
