   Food delicious as always. We had blackbean& pumpkin soup, thick juicy porkchop and NC trout. Service was a bit slower than normal but server was very gracious and mindful. The new addition does have multiple heaters going to ward off the cold.

   The restaurant is a Charlottesville must-see The food was outstanding, all courses expertly made and an example of full, wholesome and flavoursome cooking. The servers were solicitous and polite. We highly recommend this establishment.

   We had a great meal of soup, salad, bread, and appetizer. We were not very hungry and did not have an entree. The food was excellent, and Sasha was wonderful as our server. Nice people, great food, great service, and nice ambience.

   Service was excellent, food was presented very well and was very good but not able to give them a 5 star. Although white table cloth, the restaurant is a bit noisy and crowded mainly just due to the configuration of the building. Price point is on the high end. Second time eating here and I will go back.

   Have eaten at Duners many times over the years. Almost always great experience. The latest experience was poor. Apparently our order got lost in the system and several other tables who were seated after us received their orders. Eventually our server realized our entrees had not been delivered. She went back to the kitchen and they arrived 15 minutes later. Although my entree was delicious, it was luke warm to cold. My wife’s dish was served without the artichoke cream sauce, which we pointed out and they went back to the kitchen to get it. Overall very poor execution. It appears the kitchen is not staffed to handle the volume.

    The drinks were very good. We waited at the bar until the table was ready. The Brasserie G&T was so tasty! The bartender was friendly and efficient. He was so busy, it was impressive with how quickly he was putting out drinks for the servers. I think there was only one draft beer available, but my husband was happy with the local beer that was offered. (There were many others available in cans or bottles). We were seated at a nice booth prior to the reservation time. The bread and butter was fresh and delicious. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the NY strip. Both were very good. The crab cakes were fried, but not at all greasy. There was no discernible filler and the house made tartar sauce was delicious. We chose the crème caramel for dessert. It was a very nice custard with berries and a thin caramel sauce. Everything was great. The service was very good, but all the servers seemed to be overextended. Maybe they were a little short handed last night. Overall, it was an excellent meal and we will definitely go back.
