Located on Lake Wylie in the newly developed McLean South Shore, Drift on Lake Wylie is a chef-inspired lakeside chophouse. At the forefront of the Lake Wylie dining scene, our food is simple and seasonal—home to prime cuts of beef, local seafood, and homemade pasta. Whether you join us for dinner, pop by the bustling bar for a quick bite, or book one of our private dining rooms for a special dinner or cocktail party, we look forward to serving you soon.

This guided experience will be led by a wine expert from Orsini Wines. The event is priced at $60 per guest, which includes wine tastings, light bites, a 4% administrative fee, 18% gratuity, and tax. This special, private event is priced at $40 per person and includes food, tea, 4% administration fee, 18% gratuity, and tax. We'll be serving a variety of teas alongside light bites, such as deviled eggs, baked goods, tea sandwiches, cheeses, and small desserts — perfect for treating all the amazing mothers in your life! Reservations are required, and a credit card hold will be needed to confirm your booking. We will not be serving our brunch al a carte menu during this event.

    We really enjoyed our Easter brunch. The fried deviled eggs were yummy. Chicken and waffles really hit the spot. The staff is always so wonderful. We visit this place often.

    My friend and I went for Easter Brunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The special menu had lots of choices for the 3 course meal, as well as cocktails. We both had the lobster omelette and it was perfectly cooked and flavored.

    Went for Easter brunch withe the pre-fix menu. Server was attentive, fun, full of smiles. Made for a welcoming brunch! Food selection was adequate but the taste was exceptional from all 3 courses. Definitely will be doing brunches here more often!

    What a beautiful location with view of the lake! We came for brunch: the ambiance was wonderful and the food and drinks were delicious. The staff was very kind, attentive and professional. We drove from charlotte to have lunch and it was well worth the drive. Would definitely return!

    Our kids gave us a Drift gift certificate for our anniversary. We're very glad they did. Everything from the hostess to our server to the food was excellent. It was a very pleasant evening out and worth every penny. We will most certainly be going back.

The meal began with a vibrant Panzanella and Burrata, paired with a delightful mimosa flight. Dawn's shrimp and grits were a Southern delight, while my huevos rancheros packed a spicy kick. The Exotic Bomba dessert was a tropical explosion of flavors. Drift on Lake Wylie is more than just a meal—it's a memory waiting to be made. And yet, the true star wasn’t on the menu. Lorayne, our waitress, wielded hospitality like a superpower. She navigated our table with the grace of a diplomat and the timing of a stand-up comedian. When Dawn launched into a story about our cruise, Lorayne didn’t just listen—she participated, asking questions with the enthusiasm of a talk show host.
