   Amazing fish and chips! Cooked perfectly without being overly greasy. The curry sauce is the best we've had and the mushy peas were super too. Lovely touch of a candle in my dessert. Thank you Drakes. We will be back!

   Delicious fish and chips with friendly helpful service. My plaice (they often don't have it in stock but I was lucky to get the last one on Friday lunch time!) was sublime. My partners pensioners haddock was equally delicious! I had unlimited chips with my plaice but didn't need to ask for more as there were loads on the plate, enough to make a chip buttie (nice bread with lurpak butter - devil is in the detail!) and all washed down with a nice cuppa tea.

   Honestly best fish and chips we've had. The chips were crispy and fluffy the fish beautifully white with such a light batter, as for the onion rings WOW!!. Would recommend 100%

   The chips were perfect so deserve a five, the stk pie was full and not too bad, the fish in this instance wasnt the bees knees. Cod is our preferred fish with haddock down the list.

    Had fish and chips with mushy peas and gravy that was absolutely lovely. The service staff was friendly and the food came to us quickly. I would happily return.
