   I had the please of going to Drake’s for a birthday dinner. I want to start off by saying I love Drake’s. It’s a beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and small/intimate inside. Our server was amazing as well. We ordered the strawberry cake for the bday dessert and unfortunately the cake was NOT good at all ! This was the first. Not sure if it was old or sat out too long or what but it was disappointing & this was the first. Also, reservations were made over 1 month out & requested to have the tables near to one another & we received the total opposite lol our tables were far away from each other. Upsetting that we couldn’t get accommodated especially with way advance notice. Other than those 2 issues we enjoyed ourselves.

   The dress code is not enforced and so the vibe in the restaurant is trashy. Baggy pants with boxers showing, neck tattoos, etc. The food is average at best but quite expensive. Not worth it.

   Nice venue and food was great! Just not a fan of your policy to wait for all parties to be seated especially when you are hosting clients for a business dinner. It becomes embarrassing. The host made an exception but it is ruining the experience to have to negotiate to be seated when you have a reservation.

   All of their pizzas make delicious starter for the table. The Caesar salads are always so spot on, and my choice for entree is their crab cake. Service is always delightful and the atmosphere is lively.

   We stopped in while in Dallas. The service was great, and the manager was very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our experience!

   Spent my birthday at this restaurant and I loved it ! Our waitress Emery was awesome also :) will definitely be returning

    Amazing service and friendly environment from the moment valet took our car to the second we walked out with our to go bag .
