   Really enjoyed my birthday dinner and had the best server Devance he was very sweet and gentleman! Recommend coming to this place I loved the vibes! Coming back to see about their brunch!

   The service was excellent! I really appreciated the servers explaining the menu choices and allowing us to choose our seating location. The portions were good and the atmosphere was great. R&B/rap music played throughout the restaurant at a reasonable level. Parking on the streets is limited, so I suggest valet parking which was $15. I had the sea bass and my wife chose pork chops. Both were excellent. The bill was $150 for us. I will return again.

   I arrived for my reservation and the door staff that greeted me was friendly. My friend that I was meeting was running behind so I sat at the bar and waited for her. I don’t remember my bartender’s name but she was very polite and friendly and kept me company while I waited for my friend! Once my friend arrived, we sat down and Lashaun was our server! She was very bubbly, and answered all of our questions about the menu! Shout out to Lashaun! The food was awesome! I had the collard green and kale egg rolls for an appetizer and the Opelousas pasta as an entree. Both were delicious! My friend had the shrimp toast as an appetizer and the lamb chops as her entree. She said it was delicious as well! The music was great too! They plaid 1990’s and early 2000’s Hip Hop and R&B. The only down side I experienced was being charged a fee in addition to our food bill. for using my credit card to pay. Also, the valet parking fee is $15 so it may be better to uber or Lyft if the price is a concern for you. But I recommend Doves and I will go back!

   Calamari was delicious. The crab fried rice and Salmon was excellent. The drinks were great.

   The ambiance was great, the food was good as well. We were a couple seated next to a large group that was very loud. This made it difficult to communicate with each other. Very annoying.

   My waitress was fantastic, and the drinks were great. The appetizer, Pagoda Shrimp, was amazing. I also ordered the Gulf Coast Snapper with Brussels sprouts and Doves fried with crab and lobster. The food was prepared well, but it could have benefited from more seasonings, particularly the fish. Overall, the restaurant has a nice ambiance.

    Really great food!! Service was awesome! Winston was our server. Several Gold stars for him :-). It gets a bit loud with the DJ so talking became a bit much without yelling across the table. But otherwise great vibe! On the dress code, I would love if we could turn people away for having all of their cheeks out. I don’t mean short dresses, I mean I saw cheeks. There has to be limits inside of a nice establishment. Keep it classy!
