   Good food, good service, but for me is very overpriced. You can have the same meat quality or better at Texas Road House for half of the price or less

   Everything was as exceptional as usual except for the Food! Our Waiter Mark was attentive, Fun & the Best. The Shrimp/Calamari, Susuishi & Crab Cake Apps were pretty darn Good as was the bread w/black salt! The hash brown side was to die for & the filets w/sauce were cooked right & enjoyed by the Ladies! The 20oz Ribeye was cooked to order & had good flavor…it was very tough & chewy. Not a Good Steak at All! The Scallops were downright disappointing…way overcooked, very small & not tasty at all! These are usually my favorite dish & a reason we chose to eat at Double Cut…definitely disappointed in both the steak & Scallops! We don’t mind paying premium prices for Great Food…We were charged a premium price for way below average entrees!

   Hard to critique since we did not get a chance to complete our meal. However, here are a few pluses and negatives. First off, there was no one at the hostess stand to check us in and we had to walk around to find someone. For an establishment of this type, this is unacceptable. A plus: When we were finally seated, we were promptly welcomed by our server Negative: when asking about ordering options, we were advised that the prime rib, which is the special on Saturday and the only reason we chose this restaurant was not available . The only explanation was that they “ran out”. This again is unacceptable and should never happen when a dish is promoted as a special of the night. We therefore did not dine here so cannot give a review on the quality of the food.

   My family and I had a great time spoiling ourselves here. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food and drink were very tasty. Loved getting the cherry smoked old fashioned. Such a fun experience and tasty cocktail. My 5 year old loved her chicken bites and fries, her vegetarian father enjoyed his pasta, and I was very pleased with my French onion soup and prime rib sandwich. Ice cream sundae cart was a huge hit with our little one! What a fun family outing!!

   From the specialty cocktails to the appetizers to the sushi to the burger to the steaks and sides- even the kids meals- D E L I C I O U S. From the hostess to the server to the food runners- even the manager greeting tables- service was A M A Z I N G. If you plan to have a fancy dinner during your stay- whether it’s mom and dad or the whole family- I highly recommend!

   My wife’s oysters Rockefeller were soggy, the escargot was just bread and butter, my dry aged 20oz ribeye was overcooked and way too salty. The baked potato was undercooked. Not impressed.

    We really enjoyed the meals. We ordered the New York Strip, Scallops, Calamari/Shrimp, and a Lemon Drop Cocktail. The steak was cooked well a bit on the saltier side if that's what you like. The calamari was very good as well not many shrimp were included in the meal though maybe 4 small size. Scallops were okay, but the sauce had little to no taste and we didn't sense any truffle within it or slices as described. Lemon Drop was okay as others described the alcohol content is high, but mostly tastes like vodka with a lemon peel and sugar in it. Overall the meal was enjoyable for a special occasion, but I'd pay maybe $80-90 vs the $150 we were charged.
