Enjoy a variety of Italian favorites - such as Lasagne Della Nonna (traditional meat lasagna), Penne Arrabbiata O Al Pomodoro (penne in a spicy homemade tomato sauce), and Melanzane Alla Parmigiana (eggplant parmigiana) - made with the highest quality Italian ingredients and with Chef Rosanna's special touch. We also offer 14 different brick oven, thin crust pizzas, including a Rustica (mozzarella, sausage, red peppers, olives and basil), a Vedova Bianca (mozzarella, ricotta, radicchio and walnuts), and our signature Donna Margherita (buffalo mozzarella, tomato "filetto" and pecorino), along with salads, appetizers, homemade desserts and a variety of wine and beer. Our cozy restaurant is a cheerful retreat from the bustle of Second Avenue. Lunch and dinner are served in our downstairs dining room where intimate twosomes as well as families and groups of friends can gather under a photographic mural of an Italian countryside.

Our first time. Went for my daughter‘s birthday. Monday night the place was packed. Good vibe. Excellent service. Fantastic food. We will be back.

Very rude people!! Was told no tables available. So I looked on open table while at the restaurant and I was able to make a reservation for indoors. I showed them the reservation. They said well should not have been able to make a reservation. Still said no tables available! We left I called to cancel so to keep my status here with open table while obviously they never canceled since open table asked me for a review! We ate instead at Mediterraneo down the steeet which was delicious and service friendly!!

Best Italian in NYC!! We had an amazing dining experience! We sat on the patio as it was a beautiful night out. Food, service and atmosphere were 10/10. Add this place to your NYC dining list, you will not be disappointed.

We were there to celebrate a birthday and sat outside. Our app pizza’s were good. We then waited 1hr for our food and it came out cold as if it had been sitting there. Waiter never came by to ask how things were. When I asked for the check I mentioned my entree wasn’t good and he didn’t even ask why. Just took it away. Won’t be back.

small hole in the wall neighborhood gem. no real ambience. service efficient here it's about the food: buratta w beautiful prosciutto was excellent and copious , as was the octopus salad pastas were wonderful only problem (a rare one) was 2 moms with 4-6 very young and very loud girls aged maybe 7-8 having a jolly time but at perhaps 100 decibels. no matter. this is our go to place for a meal or take out (the breaded chicken cutlet not to be missed) I would suggest reservations as iit fills up with locals
