Das Dom im Stapelhaus in Köln ist ein traditionelles, charmantes Brauhaus. Im rustikalen, sehr gemütlichen Ambiente gibt es hier in der Altstadt-Nord, an der Frankenwerft, deutsche Küche mit rheinischem Einschlag. Schon zum kulinarischen Auftakt hast du die Wahl zwischen z.B. einer Kartoffellauchsuppe mit geräucherten Lachsstreifen, einem Krüstchengulasch und verschiedenen Salatplatten. Es gibt Kölsche Klassiker wie Himmel und Ääd, Schweinshaxe mit Kartoffelpüree und Sauerkraut oder Roastbeef mit Bratkartoffeln und Remouladensauce. Du bekommst deftige Delikatessen à la Leberkäse mit süßem Senf, Spiegelei, Bratkartoffeln und Krautsalat, Schnitzelvariationen vom Kalb und vom Schwein, Rumpsteak, Matjes- und Seelachsfilet. Vegetarier freuen sich über eine Gemüseplatte, Nudeln mit Rucola und getrockneten Tomaten sowie Käsespätzle. Auch für Kinder gibt es einige Extragerichte. Zum Abschluss genießt man zudem klassische Desserts wie den warmen Apfelstrudel mit Vanilleeis.

Habe mit OpenTable reserviert, am Sylvester Tag um 21:30. bei Ankunft Küche zu, Reservierung lag nicht vor (als ob man das nicht sehen oder überprüfen könnte, ist ja nicht so als ob ich eine Bestätigungs Mail bekommen hätte), Gastfreundschaft = 0! Nicht zu vergessen, dass man mir sagt das schon vor mir 3 andere Personen die sich deswegen beschwert haben. Jedes andere Restaurant hätte es besser hinbekommen, Nicht empfehlenswert! I reserved a table with the OpenTable App, for New Year’s Eve at 10:30 pm. Upon my arrival I have been told that their kitchen is closed moreover my reservation was not even written down(not as if they could not see it in their system or something, not to forget that i get a verification email for my reservation), also the staff is really unfriendly, I’d really won’t to give 0 stars if it was possible. Honestly take my advice to not go that that horrible place, even less because of those 5 stars review, telling you it’s so good and stuff, there are so much better places to eat. J’ ai fait une réservation via l’appli OpenTable, pour la soirée saint Sylvestre pour 10:30 du soir. J’arrive et on me dit premièrement, que la cuisine est fermée ensuite on ne trouve pas le nom de ma réservation( ils auraient pu au moins contrôler leur système de réservation, de plus que je leur ai montré le mail de confirmation qui en plus est confirmé dans l’appli), car il n’était même pas noté et encore, les gens qui travaillent là sont pas du tout sympathique, donc moi c’est même pas une étoile, si je pouvais je leur donnerais 0, voilà donc n’allez pas, même chaque autre restaurant à plus de compétence

Ich habe mit meiner Mutter (83) zu Sylvester im Dom am Stapelhaus gegessen. Sie hatte den Rheinischen Sauerbraten und ich die "Stapelhaus-Pfanne." Beides war extrem lecker. Hervorzuheben ist die Qualität des Fleisches! Service war extrem aufmerksam und prompt. Der Kellner an Höflichkeit und Freundlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Need a place to grab dinner on Christmas Eve and we were able to book a table for two. Easy walk from our hotel across the river. Pretty standard German food and beer. Service is ok, but they do get busy.

Das Essen war gut und das Personal sehr nett. Außer, daß es eine ganze Zeit übersehen hat, daß unser Bier leer war.

We booked through Open Table and the booking was confirmed by email, but the restaurant did not have us on their list nor did they know that we were coming. Luckily we waited 5 minutes and there was a free table for such a large party. But something, or communications between the two places was not good or something I don't know.
