    This is a very interesting restaurant to bring friends to that are traveling from out of town. It is very upscale fun atmosphere. This particular visit was New Year’s Eve and they were slammed. Two of our guests hot meals came out right away and we waited an additional 40 minutes to get our sushi brought to the table which was kind of awkward. But the food was good. Our waiter seemed very overwhelmed, but he made up for it.

   We have been here many times and the atmosphere and service is always great! The down side is food consistency-dishes we order frequently are prepared differently on our visits leading to disappointments.

   Had a reservation from open table for a special occasion . Had to sit at combined tables that were uneven and tiny. Should have been seated in thr nicer areas.

   Server did well despite very busy night. Food always delicious. Much more noisy than usual because of holiday crowd.

    Food was great! Our service was SOOOOO kind. But the wait for the drinks was out of this work long. My husband waited 1 hour for a bottle of beer… and he first ordered a whiskey on their menu and it took 20 minutes for our server to tell us that they ran out of it. Food wait we didn’t really care if we had our drinks.. but the drink wait was crazy long… and we had 5 ppl at our table but they only brought us 2 app plates and 2 silverware. So we didn’t have any napkins for the rest of us. I usually don’t have issues at Dokyo but we were entertaining guests from out of town and that was a bit of an unfortunate experience .. food and drinks tasted amazing though..
