   We were celebrating my husband‘s birthday. I let the restaurant know both in my reservation, and when we arrived, yet nothing was offered to him as congratulations, no complementary dessert, nothing. We sat outside, and the noise level was way too loud for our taste. This is not a place for relaxing conversation. The service was mediocre. We waited for a long time to order, for our food to arrive, and to receive the check. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

   Food and service was very good considering our server had a couple of large groups to take care of. Hog fish special was excellent, calamari so was hot and fresh, but too much heavy breading. Overall, noisy and loud. Good food.

   Food was good and service was excellent. However, when I got the check the pricing for a French Martini was very odd. Instead of one price they split the charge. The waiter explained he was told to charge us this way because more gin plus Chambord was in the drink and they didn't have a key for this type of drink. Only advice if something not on the drink menu might be good to ask the price.

   We have been to Doc Fords many times both in St Petes and Sanibel. Tonight it was off.. food overcooked and the servers were distracted and not attentive. I hope it was a one off and will get better

    Food was very good. We had the Caribbean Jerk Tostadas as an appetizer and the Triple Tail fish special of the day & the Seafood paella. Everything was excellent!!! S Service was great. Server was very pleasant and friendly!!!
