   I think our server was either new or completely overwhelmed. We had to ask multiple times for extra butter and more bread. After I paid, I told the server that I had asked for a printed receipt. It took another 10 minutes and I ended up following her to the doorway to the back to ensure that she got it for me. For 3 years we have always eaten here before a show. We have season tickets, so it’s been at least once a month. Now, they are not taking many reservations so I have not been able to get them for Dianne’s. However, after today, I bam actually looking forward to trying some of the restaurants that are close to the Hobby Center.

   We have eaten here many many times and the service is always average to good. Last night was horrible. Our dirty plates stayed stacked at the end of the table for 20 minutes. Adjacent tables had same issues AND the manager was serving wine upstairs. I complained to the server but she stated that it wasn’t her responsibility to pre bus tables and the bar was behind serving drinks (?). I went downstairs and complained to the hostess but she never sent any one to help us. I had to ask the manager- she was wearing a blue dress- for the check and she seemed VERY unconcerned that a customer was having to ask for help. I also told the hostess as we were leaving, that if a customer had an issue the proper response was to forward to a manager. Oh, also the waitress said that they were very busy- honey, that restaurant serves a full room all at once, so that people can go to a show. It’s always like that!

   Our food - we had the special, Pasta Primivera, split between us half shrimp and half chicken - was fabulous and good portion. Waiter was attentive though overloaded and late on small items (eg water, pepper for salad). Primary concern was inflexibility in seating. Wide open restaurant, and we booked well in advance. But we’re told since they’d be full in an hour, no way to switch - looked like plenty of four tops to us?

   Great place to have a delicious meal b4 the show. The salmon was delicious and the key lime pie a nice finish.

   The food was very good but the waiter was not attentive, most likely due to low availability of staff. Otherwise was very courteous and pleasant. Would find there again.

   We had such a great time! To start we had a great table.. Romeo was an excellent waiter! Started with a Cosmo and my daughter had A wicked margarita!! Soooo good! Shared a shrimp cocktail And each had a crab cake and shared truffle fries!! Great meal!! Never felt rushed!! We’ll go back for sure❤️

    I usually have the seared salmon and it was the best I have had it for this meal. The waitress was very good and our meal was timed just right to be finished in time for the show!
