I made reservations for 6:30 for a party of 5. We arrived 10 minutes early. Seated at 6:25. At 6:45 we still had not had anyone acknowledge our presence, no water, no I'll be right with you, nothing! We watched tables of people being seated and drinks being served and orders taken. I finally caught a waitress who was getting drink orders for a table who had just been seated right next to us. She took our drink order and said she'd find our server. She came back and said she'd be our server. We eventually got our orders taken. I got the steak salad which I always order and it's usually a hardy salad and it had 4 slices of steak on it. It normally is served with a decent portion of meat, it was not cooked to medium & was missing the tomatoes and blue cheese crumble, etc. the waitress took it back & came back with a properly dressed salad & told me they've reduced the amount of steak now on the salad but went a head a gave me what was the original quantity. Very disappointed! My husband got the burger (his usual) and they were out of bacon and his burger was very dry (over cooked). My daughter got the Mongolian beef again her usual and it was so dark that it almost looked black, my son in law got the pot roast and it had no flavor and my other daughter the pasta and no bread. Portions for all of our meals were smaller than normal & also the bruschetta that normally had 6 slices now only had 4. The entire experience was a disappointment. My son in law just returned from deployment & we were excited to take them to dinner. We've never had issues like we had tonight. It was literally with everything we had. Even my Rose' was flat. Our waitress was sweet but it was just a bad night. We are not the complaining type, but it was pretty bad. We also did not get offered the wine sample that every table around us was given. I'm a club member and visit LC several times a mth. For my SIL first time at LC it was embarrassing. He & my daughter drove 12 hrs from Ft.Hood to visit.

Wonderful little jewel we found on return visit from Las Vegas and it was open late in Alamogordo. The food was surprisingly delicious and the wait-staff (Dino) as efficient and courteous as any 5 star restaurant we have dined. Wonderful experience for tired travelers who traveled 3 states in three days by planes, trains and Uber.

The wait staff was incredible. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The wine was great. It was obvious that this family owned restaurant was well managed and they cared about their customers. We will be back if we come to Alamogordo again!

Off their game tonight. Sat for 20 min and no one waited on us, I had to flag down a host to ask for our waiter/waitress. Host gave us water and bread. Our waitress Mikayla finally showed up after 10 more minutes. She took our drink and food order. Took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. Food was good. Took another 15 minutes to get second round of drinks. Brought wrong check at the end.

It was a Saturday or Sunday, so a busier day, I'd imagine. My husband and I had a reservation, and it did take a little bit to get seated, but despite that, absolutely zero complaints, my husband and I loved everything about the setting, the wine selections and assistance, appetizer, dinner, and dessert. We aren't wine drinkers so we came in pretty clueless for never being here, or knowing next to nothing about wine, but the service for us was incredible, including the information about the wine, where it's made, etc.

Both appetizers and entrees were adequate in portions and price. Only negative would be the New Mexico Pasta could use more green chile

We were passing through and stopped at D. H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro and dined on a marvelous meal! What a pleasant surprise! Our Seafood Carbona & Pistachio Pesto Pasta with shrimp were divine. Service was just right. Our server was attentive, checking in with us regularly yet not rushing us. It would be a pleasure to return.
