DEXTER is a no rules approach to American BBQ brought to you by Adam Goldblatt, Sam and Tom Peasnell. Our meatery features the best Australian produce which is treated the right way. Chefs Tom (Pitt Cue Co, London) and Adam (Homeslice, London) pay homage to the low and slow traditions of American BBQ utilising smoking, chargrill techniques and pair this with flavours from Mexico, China, France and alike. The philosophy is a meat first approach, where a dish is formulated from the unique characteristics of the meat (or vegetable) for a truly unique meat experience. Think salted caramel ribs, hot meat donuts and dry aged Ribeye's.

If you’re feeling carnivorous, this is the place to whet your appetite..! I love the straightforward and simple menu. Honestly you really can’t go wrong with any dish here. Favourites are the succulent melt-in-the-mouth beef brisket and caramel short ribs. The strip loin steak is a close second followed by the sweet, tender pork belly. The sides are perfect - creamy mash, pickles and slaw complement the rich meat. Wait staff are super easy going, relaxed yet attentive. One of my all time favourite places.

Delicious meal and staff were nice. However, despite having set dining times, the table before us was allowed to sit into our booking time for 15mins and were not being encouraged that they needed to leave.

From the easy of booking on online, to being greeted so warmly and the friendliness and attentiveness of the wait staff, to the quality and portion sizes were perfect!
