   From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the polite service. The music (Sinatra, Etta James, etc) was at the perfect volume. We could hear the music, but we could also hear each other talking. My husband and I each had a petite filet and we split the lobster tails. For sides, we had asparagus and creamed spinach. Every bite of the food was delectable. The staff kept our drinks filled and made sure our experience was perfect. Definitely in our top five New Orleans restaurants! We will surely be back.

   We decided to celebrate our son's 16th birthday at Desi Vega's and they did not disappoint. The food was hot and delicious. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. Everything was clean and timely. Another party of about 12 were celebrating a birthday, also. They were loud but its okay....they were celebrating like us. Thank you Desi Vega's.

   The experience at Desi Vega’s was awesome. The waiters Terrence and Devin were super attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. They were “spot on” with service and also gave us some great advice about other key points in the city. They recommended the Who dat shrimp appetizers which were great. Steaks were perfectly prepared to the right temperature and came out on a sizzling plate. I just wish I’d left room for dessert.

    Wind took 20 min to come. Forgot my potatoes n I had to remind them. They brought it out when my steak was 1.2 way eaten. Found out they brought me a more expensive wine than I ordered, when I hit the bill.
