   The restaurant has taken the approach to add a salad or soup with your entre which like John Henry's is an added value. The food is top notch and better than most high end restaurants in downtown. The linguini with lobster tail, shrimp, scallops in a light cream sauce was perfect and a large portion. The sea bass with spinach and risotto was delicious. The staff is very attentive. Good wine list and good price point. Only thing lacking is the ambiance.

   We had a wonderful dinner with friend, who absolutely RAVED about the quality and the service. Our friend had the short ribs and he said having that put Desert Moon on the top of his favourite Palm Springs restaurants to eat at! My halibut special was excellent and the other two had the Thai curry which was divine. Service was absolutely amazing. What really strikes us is the effort put into service and the pride put into the food at this relatively new restaurant. If you haven't given it a try - make it a destination. You won't be disappointed, I'm sure. Last time I had the chilean sea bass which I also loved! Very much appreciate getting a soup or salad with the meal as well, and the bread they serve is excellent.

   After reading the good reviews on Open Table, my husband and I decided to try Desert Moon. Overall, it was a good experience. You get a choice of soup or salad and we both chose the Onion Soup which was very good. My husband had the Short Rib which he enjoyed and I had the Filet Mignon. I ordered it rare and it came medium rare but still good, quite tender and with a nice sauce. They had cheesecake as a special desert so we tried that and it was okay but nothing special. The service was excellent, server very nice and efficient. At 4:00 PM on a Wednesday, we were the only people in the restaurant and still the only ones when we left. Hope this place makes it as I think it is a good addition to the PS restaurant scene and a good value.

   We had a very nice dinner. The service was exceptionally attentive. The server was extremely accommodating and concerned about our experience. The food was very good. We also appreciated the quiet ambiance where we could actually have a real conversation.

   First time here and didn’t realize it was beer and wine only. This was not mentioned in the website. However the food was delicious and our server Andrea R. was excellent. They really need to upgrade the chairs to elevate the dining experience.

    We had a large group. That kept growing. They did a great job. Food here is always amazing. And prices for PS. Totally fair. The seabass was fab.
